Beautiful interior, new upholstery on both seats, CD player, windows both work, gullwing doors do not droop door pistons in good shape, has 52,000 miles, garage kept, stainless looks great, no rust, tires still have plenty of tread. Year: 1981	56,000 miles, currently in daily driver condition. I began restoring March of 2005, however job loss forces sale. As such this DeLorean is a work in progress and will need more work to make beautiful. This car is located in Vancouver, WA, five minutes from Portland, OR. Exterior: It has three small flaws in the stainless panels, two on the right front fender and one on the left rear quarter panel. Front and rear fascia needs paint. Otherwise it is in beautiful shape. Interior: It has several cracks in the dash, and in the leather on the seats. The headliner has begun to separate. Replaced all of the pneumatic struts and weather seals for the doors. Engine drive train: Fuel pump and hoses have been replaced; clutch master cylinder and line have been replaced. Year: 1983	1983 Canadian specs DeLorean, 240KPH / 120 MPH speedometer. All upgades have been done. No rips, no tears, no surprises. 5 speed, 53,000 kms (+ - 35,000 miles) Original Craig radio cassette works great. Perfect grey leather seats - driver's side was replaced. DMC embroidered mats. New set of door / bonnet / engine cylinders installed (Hervey's). Extremely clean car by fussy owner who has had 3 DeLoreans over the past 15 years. Car is a daily driver in the summer months. There are a few very minor dings from previous owner storing boxes on the car. One small ding on passenger side 1/8" near mirror, caused by parking lot door opening. Car was driven to Pigeon Forge, Tenn in 2004. winter stored in heated garage. Have list of upgrades on request. This is a nice car, a very clean, hassle free driver. Year: 1981	Excellent condition, 2-owner 1981 DeLorean complete with BAE Turbo and 5 speed transmission up for sale. Exterior: VIN 1776 with gas flap and locking gas cap. New Kuhmo tires with less than 500 miles on them (with silver DMC wheels). Stainless in good shape with no dents, although front fascia will need some paint sometime soon (no eyebrows though). Doors close smooth, and open easy thanks to DMC Houston struts. All glass in good shape, including the windshield with embedded factory antenna (although functional antenna has been installed in right rear). Louver is in good shape, as well as lower engine cover. Interior: Interior is immaculate, with black seats in excellent condition, as well as the console. Dash, glove box, and binnacle have no cracks, and looks like it just came out of the factory. Dark gray carpet is in good shape, and comes covered with factory original black DMC floormats. Console has rare felt-covered coin tray. Instrument cluster is also in great shape, and the 160 mph speedometer has 40K miles on the clock (turbo boost gauge situated below instrument cluster, to the right of the steering wheel). Console clock still works on this car. Vinyl on doors is in great shape. Car has aftermarket cassette deck installed, and also comes with the factory Craig. Power windows and door locks 100% operational. Engine: 2.8L PRV with BAE turbo setup, complete with intercooler, forged internals, custom exhaust setup (sounds mean), Water Guard fuel filtration system, oil cooler, aluminum coolant bottle, 120+ amp alternator, and MSD ignition. Also has Centerforce clutch installed. Intercooler is installed in the left side of the pontoon, and draws air from the driver's side rear air grille. All work was done by Scientific Automotive in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1983 (I have catalog from the company that displays several of the upgrades). Car also comes with boxes of parts, including the original Craig radio, original speedometer, oil & air filters, Water Guard filters, original Ducellier alternator, new low beam headlights, DMC Houston windshield cover, original DeLorean car cover (purchased new with car), and much more. Also included is the parts manual, original DeLorean brochures and Dealer List, DMC pre-delivery checklist, and many copies of DeGullwing Magazine. Known issues: Front fascia needs paint Louvers could use new struts ($40) Gas gauge not operating (operated when I purchased it...probably needs new fuel sending unit - $99 from any vendor) AC needs recharge of R12 AC/Vent fans not operating (possible blower motor problem) T-panel headliner needs to be redone (door headliners are good) Car has no catalytic converter. Year: 1981	True daily driver DeLorean. It has been it's past 3 owners only car, and has been driven every day since it's extensive restoration in 1998. Receipts totalling around $20,000 from it's DeLorean Motor Center restoration in 1998, and well documented maintenance dating as far back as the mid 1980s. The car currently has 84,000 miles. It fires up happily every time, and idles perfectly. The car has a solid frame: it resided in California until it came to the East coast in 1998. Though I have only owned this particular DeLorean 2 years, I've known the car's past two owners, and have spent a good amount of time in the car since 2000. Cosmetically it's very nice... the stainless has been regrained to a beautiful sheen, the fascias have been repainted, and the wheels have been powder coated. Many extra little touches such as a custom stainless radiator screen have been added. Interior is nice and show presentable, but the binnacle is cracked and the driver's seat has a crack on the back as well (I am a total perfectionist in regards to DeLoreans). I will consider fixing/replacing these items for a serious buyer. Headliners are new with Grady fiberglass backing boards. Original floormats included. Sound system has been upgraded and really thumps: $400 El Kameleon CD player, Rockford Fosgate speakers all around, and a Pioneer amplified bass tube. 170 MPH speedo. Mechanically the car has too many updates/upgrades to list here. It has all Zilla mods (Fan, Tank, Lock, plus an alarm system); electrical, and cooling system upgrades all completed. Since I've owned the car ALL (including under intake manifold) hoses have been replaced with silicone; all belts, and tires have been replaced as well(Michelin Pilots $$$). I've upgraded the radiator to a brass 3-core, and I just installed a new 140 Amp alternator. All workshop manuals included. It would take very little to make this car perfect. I hate to sell it, but my current priority is buying a condo. Anyone who knows me knows my passion for the DeLorean automobile, and I will hope to have another one within a couple of years (I've always wanted an automatic anyways!). Year: 1981	First time advertised for sale. Daily Driver but this town is small and I don't go far!! Starts instantly and idles perfect. Purchased from original owner with 3K miles 8 years ago, now almost 9k miles. Always garaged by both owners. New Michelins last month with ten miles on them!! All original except fluids and new HD Interstate battery last year. Only change is addition of Remote Start/doors unlock-lock/light/alarm system etc. Immaculate exterior and interior except for tiny dent in passengers door. Always kept clean. Leather and Vinyl treated. No dash cracks. Wheels sparkle, engine compartment clean. Smooth hood with lines, no gas flap and NO X, No eyebrows. Only known problems are drivers window does not work. New lift on hand but unable to install myself, also passengers seat belt will not retract. Cooling system does not leak a drop but nothing done to it since new. Brakes were completely redone. All manuals and DeLorean World mags in binders since beginning. Also All books and magazines known that concern DeLorean. New Trailing Arm Bolts installed although found the old ones were not damaged. Complete Torsion Bar adjusting setup, including jig and all Craftsman tools. Won several first and lower place trophies at Auto Shows...including Plaque for Oldest Owner at Memphis DeLorean Car Show!! Ask for any details desired. Runs and drives great. The car has always been garaged and covered and not taken out when wet or raining. Only driven to fairs and car shows. We bought this car from the first owner who lived in CA. Year: 1981	17500 original miles, original owner. The car has new Yokohama tires. The fuel tank has been cleaned and a new fuel pump and boot was installed, also the fuel accumulator was replaced. The fuel gauge sending unit needs to be replaced. The radiator overflow tank was replaced long ago with an aluminum one. The brake calipers were overhauled a couple of years ago also new pads were installed but due to lack of use I sometimes have a caliper stick on the right front. The head liner was replaced about 8 years ago (The courtesy light need to be reinstalled). The engine runs but needs a tune-up and A.C. needs to be charged. The interior of the car looks great barring some scuffing on drivers seat and a scratch on the passengers head rest from (I believe) a mechanic from the dealer that had a screwdriver in his pocket. The binnacle looks new and there are NO cracks in it. The windows do not operate but the driver’s side you can hear the motor turn. The carpet looks good and has the original DMC mats(black), the mat for the trunk is also there(black) as is the jack/spare and pouch with crank and lug nut wrench. There is a small piece of interior trim missing on rear of driver’s side door. The body is in good condition with a very small crease on the right side fender low to the ground that is not noticeable unless pointed out. I am trying to be as accurate as possible on the condition of the car so there are no surprises for interested parties. Pictures available. Also included are two of the original document pouches for the interior that contain all the original paper work for the car, one is new and the other is used (it was in the car). I also have the original window sticker. Four of the Large sales folders (Black embossed with the car) Four of the small sales folders (Black). One set of the info sheets (so I was told) that were given to salesmen, one covering the Delorean and one about Ireland. Many other magazines and books. I will not sell off ANY of the articles or magazines separately this was part of the collection of items gathered around the ownership of this car and will stay with the vehicle. Year: 1981	Hi, this is what I would call and average car in average condition for its age... It was painted when purchased from the original dealership.. (Ferrari red) the paint is not bad but it is showing signs of 25 years of being on the car... (cracking, some chips, and a little fading on the hood) The rear louvers are oxidized a bit.. the car runs well as far as i can tell... 41,000 miles on this vehicle, frame is excellent!! The passenger window does not roll up or down, the windshield has a small crack on the passenger side.. both seats have very light wear those are the only observations I have really made... the tires are excellent (75% or more tread)!! the spare is not there.. Year: 1981	This car is mostly in good shape but interior needs some work. There is a crack in dash and some tears on dash padding and seats. Carpets, headliner and clutch master cylinder should be replaced, too. I have replaced fuse box, dip switch, headlights, pedal pads, shift boot, all six gas struts and radiator hoses. Body, frame, lights, wheels and tires, engine and tranny are all in good shape. No cracks in windows, doors work fine and side windows work. Have to sell, don't want to sell. Year: 1981	It's beautifully brushed stainless steel body, gullwinged doors and exotic lines are a definite head turner. It has the original 2.85 liter PRV-6 motor in it along with the original Renault Alpine 5 speed manual transmission. Over the past 2 years it has gone through an extensive frame off restoration. First the "rusty" frame was replaced with a new one that was professionally coated with light grey urethane/epoxy. All of the fuel lines, fittings and vacuum lines that run throughout the vehicle are now all stainless steel and bolted down on the frame with all stainless fixtures. The transmission was sandblasted and clear coated and a brand new Centerforce clutch was purchased and installed. All of the bolts on the frame, engine, transmission and even on the flywheel were replaced with stainless ones. The engine has always ran clean and strong. In fact, a road trip was done with it June 17 till the 19th from Niagara Falls, Canada to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the DeLorean Car Show and the car ran beautifully. The radiator has been replaced with a brand new one and all of the aluminum and rubber radiator hoses have been sandblasted and in some cases replaced. The car has all new relays and fuses and the fan fail fix dual from SpecialTAuto. Four brand new Predator GTS white lettered tires have just been put on the car. A new Pioneer CD Deck has replaced the old stock Craig cassette player but has stopped working. The stock speakers have been replaced 2 new 4" speakers in the front and 2 6 x 9" speakers in the back.
