Start With 3M blending pad or you can use sandpaper electro oxide220/400/600/800/1000/2000 then you should be fine.I prefer the sandpaper, its faster just be careful because to much pressure can remove the grain although that will still take awhile so you would noticeI am actually removing my grain to have a mirror like finish.But you can just go with grain only both wet and dry sandGood luck its a loooong process but can be done cheaplyI've done two fenders and the t top and that's taken me about 60 hours, yes 60!But just scratches should be a fraction on that
