Years (and I mean YEARS) ago I read an article about this as well. The idea was to use the calipers and rotors of a European '80's Ford Granada, and according to the article, the parts would not require any modification at all. As an added "bonus" if you will, the track width of the front wheels was increased by almost an inch. Since we are talking 30 years back, it is probably wishful thinking to find these parts.
