Came across my pictures of the Delorean Door I skinned way back in the mid 1980's..I have it in a PDF file called.." Delorean door with exterior skin Removed".. it's in the files section on the DML website...for those who have never seen what the "other side" of a delorean door looks like.

Notice all the engineering and the extra reinforcement that went into making the door as strong and rigid as possible using all SS parts and SS welding.

This door came off a delorean with only 2,200 miles. Vin 5520 Oct 1981 build Totaled less than two months after being sold..I bought it in mid 1982 as a parts car.I was the second owner and the very last owner of that Delorean. I parted every part of that car except for the vin plate which I still own. This was the car that started the ball joint recall.
