Re: [DML] STARTING UPDATE WOES

Definitely check the white resistor is plugged in (located right on the firewall on the left side of engine bay) it may have disconnected also check at the coil (the two wires)
That's my bet from your questions it does not take much to knock them off while your working- I know, been there!

Today was not a good day.  Took all the plugs out and recleaned.  New frequency valve, buzzing as advertised.  Fuel pump, working as advertised.  All hoses hooked up and in place.  Turn key and crank, crank, crank and nothing.   Not even a hint of firing.  Pull all plugs and they all show signs of wet fuel.  Dry and reinstall plugs.   Crank again and still no fire.  Not even a hint of firing.

Played with the mixture screw--half turn at a time--trying to start in between turns.  Went three full turns up and three full turns down.  No difference---no firing at all.  Mixture screw is back at starting point.

Pull the fuel lines off the CPR and checked the screen for debris--clean.  Idle speed motor is still humming with just the key turned on.  Is this normal?  Tomorrow I will disconnect the frequency valve and see it I can get it started.   Any other ideas out there??
