I agree. Owning a Delorean was never in the realm of possibility for me, a car guy. But later I found out that they really are NOT that expensive. Although I did get mine from a family member, I met with the local Delorean club and saw several come up for sale for just a few thousand dollars. You could go and get one from DMC for $50K, but in reality you can also get one for 10K and put time and sweat equity into it. Now, 10K to me is a LOT of money, but not an un-obtainable amount either. How much did you spend on your last new car purchase? Lot more than 10K Granted, everyone's life situation is different. But ownership of a Delorean is obtainable. Trust me. I've always longed for a Magnum Pi Ferrari ever since I was a teenager watching the show. There was NO WAY I could EVER get one of those right?! Well, it might still be out of reach for me now, but I've seen them go for 25K. Sure, lot lot LOT of money for me, but if I save and play my cards right (and BEG my wife!) one day it might happen. Keep the faith. Work hard, save hard, and mingle with the nearest club you can find. Amazing how many Delorean's you will find needing a home.!!! When I was 15 there was no way on earth I would ever be able to own one. Twelve years later, ownership became a reality. If you want a delorean bad enough, you will someday have one. That's the beauty of living in a capitalist society. -Steve Rice Proudly banned from DMCTalk #16510 On Feb 10, 2013, at 1:27 PM, boB Delorean3@xxxxxxx <mailto:Delorean3%40aol.com> > wrote: > None of us will ever own a Dellrean, sad to say.
