There is a draft tube in the passenger rear wheel well to pull gases out of the battery compartment. It was just below the fuse box and relays and is not sealed well at all. Battery gases were very corrosive and ruined many connections throughout the electrical compartment. So, solder or not, in my opinion, unless you use a vented battery that you can vent outside of the car, use an Optima battery or, you don't drive the car everyday to keep the gases cleared out, you are going to have electrical connection problems in the electrical/fuse compartment. > > Harold McElraft - 3354 > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
