I sent a response to this, but it never made it though. I had a link in it, so I bet it got dumped in the spam bucket.. Either way, I think Bill explained what I was talking about.. There are 2 screws that hold a bracket between the mixture unit and intake. Remove those 2, and you get enough movement to get the distributor cap out. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, stevedmc@... wrote: > > Are you referring to two bolts somewhere on the fuel system or the distributor. Just reach in the VOD from the back, and you can feel it. I admit, it is hard to see, but you should be able to find if any hoses are attached to it. > > > > Is the hose also missing to the CPR? > > > > Removing the distributor cap does not require any fuel components be removed from the car. It helps to remove the 2 bolts holding it to the intake, but you can then lift it enough to get to everything under it. > > > > > > --- On Mon, 8/20/12, stevedmc@... <stevedmc@...> wrote: > > > >> From: stevedmc@... <stevedmc@...> > >> Subject: [DML] Delorean start issue > >> To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > >> Date: Monday, August 20, 2012, 1:46 PM > >> We checked vacuum and it's pulling 20 > >> lbs at idle.
