Heat is exchanged more rapidly when the delta is greater. If you want to warm up the freon, keep the air warmer by increasing the flow. So yes, the air is not heated up over the evaporator, the heat in the air is exchanged to the freon. An air conditioner is just a heat pump. It moves heat from one location to another. So when the heat in the air is exchanged into the freon, the condenser exchanges or transfers the heated freon to the outside ambient air.
