Funny thing - some Safelites will not install glass they didn't sell you. If you call areound you should be able to find someone who wil, typically a smaller independent shop, but they obviously won't warranty the glass. Dave S PS - if your doors fit OK before you start, you should be fine if you do what Bill mentioned and close them carefully and leave them closed until the adhesive sets. If the roof cage has drooped in the front due to the glass or other issues, you may need to lift the front back up and hold it there while setting the glass. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "content22207" <brobertson@...> wrote: > > Safelite in Fayetteville NC did my install. They glued the windshield in on a Friday afternoon, then let the car sit in their shop all weekend while the adhesive dried. I haven't had any problems since (doesn't leak a single drop). > > Bill Robertson > #5939 ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
