Don't worry, by about this time next year it will be leaking like a sieve. I did a half-assed conversion a decade ago (just new switches and valves, flushed system, vaccumed, and recharged with R134a) and while it blows cold when it's topped off, every year I need to add more. I've had dye added and the main lines are just seeping along the whole length of the car. There is no loose fittings or a bad part. The hoses just do NOT WORK. You'll find out soon enough just like everyone else has.
