There has been so much hand waving and finger pointing that the shear simplicity of my ground bus appears to have been lost in the din. Before jumping to conclusions or reflexively arguing against it, study this diagram and realize what it in fact represents: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/554678_357239137654676_2141960308_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/554678_357239160988007_1933417722_n.jpg The OEM ground scheme has not been changed one bit. By tying all OEM ground junctions together with 4 gauge battery cable, I have effectively increased the wire size of the OEM ground scheme -- that's it, nothing more (OEM wires are still in place too, so the electrical cross section of my car is actually even bigger than 4 gauge). As noted in another post, I also tied the engine into my bus and gave the bus its own dedicated weather tight connection to the battery.
