Until I found that junction all I had ever seen/heard was that the fuel pump is grounded via the radio bracket. That is 100% incorrect. The radio bracket is actually an extremely minor player in the ground scheme: radio and a handful of noise reduction capacitors -- that's it. This car has a lot of electrical "noise" that has played havoc with my cruise control and the ignition portion of my Megasquirt system. I have run a longer cable from the ground to the original frame location and from there to a starter mounting bolt and from there to the bulkhead ground connection which helped a lot, but still has not cured all the noise problems that show up especially over about 3000 rpm. Does anyone know what the chief source of the noise is? > > Thanks, > > Ian > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
