Thank you Bill and Harold for the info. My car is number 6149 (it's always in my signature as my first car). Let me just say that I know why capacitors are used and what their function is. I was just wondering if it is a factory installation. I don't plan on removing it but I will install it the way it should be done. I really don't like those quick connect thingys ;) The way I do connections like that is to twist the wires together then solder them. Then put a heat shrink tube on the junction. It's a more permanent way of connecting wires together. If done properly it is also weatherproof what cannot be said of the connectors used in my car. Thanks guys. Greetings from Poland!
