Do you mean I can get the whole thing in carbon steel instead of stainless for 20% less money? The original parts have plenty of rust and have managed to survive 30 years so I have a feeling carbon steel would be fine. It is very tempting to go the cheap route of $219.20 and have something far better than stock or even what Martin is selling. -Steve Rice #16510 On Sat, Jun 23, 2012 at 8:11 AM, content22207 <brobertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > My new lower column, with vibration reduction, cost $274 (without vibration reduction it would have cost $233). > You can also save 20% by buying Borgeson carbon steel components versus stainless steel. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
