I agree with Rich I also added 4 new tires on my flat bed and two new tires on my covered hauler but lost one tire on the way down and had to replace it, in addition to repacking both of these trailers with wheel bearings. Bottom line Those that did not go to the show missed it. Those that did go had a great time Thanks everyone for making this a success and if it were not for people like Rich, Cliff, Tony and others you would never get the opportunity to see what was in Florida. Hey Rich DCS 2014 is only 5 hours from Chicago. It will be easier on both of us. Since I avoided the Smokey Mountains, my route, each way was about 1600 miles (for the two vehicles, with heavy trailers) and about 28 hours driving, each way. Even the $2400 fuel cost may be cheaper than flying 8 people to Orlando, FL. After the 15 inches of rain in Pensacola the week before DCS, I also decided to install new tires on the F350 Ext. Dually before the trip, so it added another $1200 for 6 truck tires but they worked well in the rain in Memphis and Jackson, MS. All I can say is those that missed it probably missed the best content show we have ever had. I hope they realize that they have missed an opportunity of a lifetime over about $300 or less in gas. That group will never be together again. DCS 2014 will be space limited due to past show attendance since 2008 . I get places based on conservative numbers > Roughly 148 people registered at the show or approximately 32 %. It made it hard to keep things moving please pre register. > In Dayton we do have limits so if you do not pre register you may not get in. There were two gate crashers at the show we kept kicking out one I think was from the Carolinas the other Florida. They will be uninvited to the next show. It cost me and my crew a lot of time being security police as well. This is steeling from the rest of you. We had to lock the maintenance doors in the back and all doors of the room because of them. You two know who you are me and marc asked you > To register many times. You never did. I trust the rest of the community backs this decision. We wasted a lot of time because of you and had to post someone at the door that we had not planned on. > Sent via HTC Sensation Powered by Cincinnati Bell Wireless > > snip < [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
