A goodly portion of the crap coming out of China is indeed crap. There is a world of difference between Made in USA wrenches (spanners) and made in china wrenches. Made in USA hand taps run circles around made in china hand taps. And I'll be damned if I am going to buy a made in china American flag. It makes little difference where some things, such as impact molded storage containers, are made, but the quality of many other things is very origin dependent.
