Nick, They always rip out others parts to sell theirs and then blame it on something else or someone else to sell more of their parts. I'll bet you if they gave you the pump back it wasn't bad just stuck which could be unstuck normally pretty easy. I save people money all the time on idle speed motors, cold start valves and Fv because they are stuck not bad. If the stud was broke then my baffle can be used with or without but since they don't sell my parts they had to replace the tank so they would have the 6mm stud to connect their parts up to. Oh, the stud can be replaced pretty easy for about $2.00 with stainless and never rust again and about 1 hour labor. If your still having problems in the fuel pump area then call me and I will tell you what's happening and why. Trouble was that the car was in Texas for body work and it wouldn't start and I was in Minnesota. They traced it to the fuel pump and replaced the whole system due to the non-oem baffle installed in the tank (the internal stud was broken eliminating the possibility of installing the OEM setup which is why I got a new tank). My choices were have them fix it or fix it myself. In the end, I continued to have troubles that looked like fuel pump problems and I believe I have it under control since I upgraded the ground bus.
