While I think $340 is a bit pricey for the brackets, it really isn't that bad when you put it into perspective. Currently these things are selling for 312 EUR if purchased directly from Ed. At today's exchange rate this adds up to 404 USD. On top of that you would have to pay at least 40 USD to get them across the pond. So if you buy directly from Ed you can expect to pay somewhere around $450 to get them shipped to the USA. The price of $340 plus another $20 for shipping comes out to $360. If you ask me, $360 is a bargain compared to $450 and you get it delivered quickly. I have a feeling the price will be going up once the supply in the USA is exhaused and another shipment has to be sent across the pond. This was another reason I purchased mine this year instead of waiting to do it in the future. -Steve Rice #16510 On Wed, May 9, 2012 at 10:20 AM, content22207 <brobertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > If you do ever install a set of Ed's brackets, I think you will be very pleased with their effect. To the best of my knowledge every single owner who has installed them has found them to be an improvement. Nobody seems to like the price, that is true. > > Bill Robertson > #5939 ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
