Ed's outer brackets have been on the market for at least half a decade. If they created a problem, someone would have reported it by now. When a vendor was selling door struts that were too long (damaging the ball mounts), that problem was reported very quickly. When a vendor was selling ball joints that failed prematurely, that problem was reported very quickly. It is ludicrous to think that a community that reports all other problems quickly would keep its mouth shut about problems with Ed's brackets. Perhaps no one has reported any problems with Ed's brackets simply because there is no problem with Ed's brackets....
