Another message in which Marc seems very concerned about swaybar travel when LCA wiggle is reduced/eliminated. I can only assume Marc has never flexed a sway bar in his hands. They are bendy as can be (which BTW is what makes them so unsuitable as faux backwards thrust arms). By virtue of its 45 degree bends, the swaybar is only halfway removed from being nothing more than a simple piece of 1" round steel. Picture in your mind how bendy a 1" steel bar would be under the force of sway bar travel -- that is what the original LCA design is dealing with. That is why OEM front ends are wiggly as sin without Ed's brackets. And that is why the sway bar has no problem flexing slightly with Ed's brackets in place. For good measure I did turn my sway bar bushings around backwards so the bar presses into an empty space through the LCA's travel rather than pressing into solid rubber: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/431704_346599712051952_100001057778755_1036464_226120052_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/420057_346599788718611_100001057778755_1036465_639163264_n.jpg Perhaps it would help Marc to remember that I am not the first owner to install Ed's brackets. They are not an experimental product -- they were service tested for many years before I ever bought my first set. Perhaps it also would help Marc to remember that I purchased my Uding brackets from a United States DMC franchise, not from Ed directly. Surely they have Houston's blessing.
