Spare tire logic: I have owned my DeLorean for one decade now. I have driven it from New York to New Orleans (and points in between). Not even once have I ever needed my seat belt (other than to avoid a ticket of course). Since I drive my car carefully to avoid accidents, why don't I simply take the seat belt out? I carry an insurance card in my wallet, so in the unlikely event that I do have an accident that sends me into the windshield, I can simply call 911 and have an ambulance sent to my location.
