Nonsense. Corvettes have not come with spare tires for over 15 years. There aren't even any provisions for one. There are probably other cars as well. Had I gotten a flat tire on the way home, *ALL* tire shops would have been closed (except the truck stops of course, which deal in 22 inch rims). AAA is what it is, but what it isn't is a substitute for a usable spare tire -- a piece of emergency survival gear that has been standard equipment on every single automobile ever built since the Model T forward.
