I've preached several times that if I were to go the do it yourself EFI route I would use a ready made kit that does TBI. EZ EFI sells such a kit that does just that. It ensures you get the perfect mixture and does everything automatically. The only drawback is it doesn't control ignition. You can get a Jeep Kit for a little over $1700 and don't have to much other than make an adapter to fit one of Bill's manifolds. http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=FS&Product_Code=30296-KIT&Category_Code=EFISystemEZIEFIKitsJeep In my opinion TBI is the only reliable way to go for a do it yourselfer. -Steve Rice #16510 On Fri, Apr 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM, content22207 <brobertson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Certainly a universal hardware kit (fuel rails, injectors, etc) is possible. > > The hangup seems to be fuel maps. > > Wonder how new car manufacturers get around that?
