Any fuel filter than fits between the two 1/4" barbs in my fancy schmancy stainless steel fuel filter brackets can be used. There is no single filter element number that an owner has to use. Look closely at John's car and you will see he is using a glass bodied filter he bought from Jeg's or Summit. Owners can also unscrew the 1/4" barbs and substitute 5/16" or 3/8" for even more filter options. And of course there is always the option of a carb mounted element in typical Ford fashion. Claiming that carb users will have a problem finding fuel filters is just plain ridiculous. Carb users have *MORE* options -- many many more options -- than K-Jet users. And they cost less (about $3).
