That's the damndest thing: everybody is all "ooo ooo ooo" over EFI, but it's the EFI'ers who are hacking away at their wiring harnesses -- a glaring double standard. As Jim and John have pointed out, carburetion does not require a single change to the factory wiring. I've still got all my K-Jet connectors, piled up in the corner of my engine compartment (my homage to K-Jet): http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/548049_364779640233959_100001057778755_1087063_509154974_n.jpg You do need a 12v switched line for the choke heater, but I usually grab that with a quick connect plugged into the Idle Speed ECU harness connector and run the wire through the tach signal grommet (unplug the quick connect and pull the wire out -- voila, back to stock). You can see my choke heater's Red wire at the bottom of the above photo. Like other conversions I have kept all of my KJet, cleaned the parts up, and have stored them to be given to the new owner when I sell my car. > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
