I just attached the Duraspark starter wire to the Red/White wire in the hot start relay socket (yes, I verified that wire switched 12v when the starter was turning) and the effect was... less than negligible. The car seems to start the same whether that wire is attached or not. I am going to leave it attached since that was part of Ford's design, and I am going to leave the Duraspark module installed for a while, but it does beg the question: how many Ford parts can you put on a DeLorean before it stops being a DeLorean and starts being a Mustang? If only there was some way to put a Duraspark distributor on a PRV....(Duraspark distributors have longer discharge by virtue of their larger diameter cap and wider rotor blade).
