It's getting a custom cut removable semicircular cover, black of course. Why is a mere fiberglass cutout generating so much controversy? I really am beginning to think that certain members' objections are with me personally, in which case *ANYTHING* I do to the car will be met wit disapproval simply because I did it. Irrespective, it does prove as false the accusation that I do nothing with my car but complain. I have been quite busy with the thing through nearly one decade of ownership (Martin and I both bought our first DeLoreans within a month of each other in 2002 -- I still have mine).
