No it isn't Claude.  Mild steel refers to the composition of the steel, not the 
thickness.

As in Built close to the standards of a 18 wheelers frame..Big THICK  Massive 
and Heavy..with tons of Carbon steel..Mild steel is Just the OPPOSITE..
