I have those "damn" LCA braces (as one could call them) from Ed. They're on my car ever since I brought it over from the USA. I also "stiffened" the LCA by closing the bottom with a welded plate. The handling of the car has been so much improved and the effects of hard braking (the car behaving like a young buck) making the front almost incontrolably moving sideways is entirely over. I also discussed replacing the LCA by a triangular type like the UCA. Ed's first remark was that the front strut towers and frame probably would not be up to the forces without re-inforcement. My 2 pence on the subject. Do we eventually need a referee?
