I guess I am part of the 1% who doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars and would rather not pull my hair out. The way I see it, I would much rather do a few simple mods to make my car more reliable and enjoy the thing, rather then spend most of my time cussing at the car. I have no problem spending thousands of dollars on a car that COULD have been better, and you know what? I don't care. If my belts fry because the muffler is too hot, I don't care. If my lower A-arms flex while braking, I also don't care. If I spend a week pulling hair out trying to fix and idle caused by some idiosyncrasy of K-Jet, I DON'T CARE!! It's a hobby and if I didn't spend my mad money on this car it would probably be on something a lot more stupid. I'm guessing that's how most of us feel. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
