Yes, I am familiar with HEIM Joints. I called the HEIM Joint a Ball Joint, which is evidently a faux pas. Oops. But I am not talking about the HEIM Joint in that picture. Please forgive me if I was unclear before. I believe you misunderstood. I asked a question about what appear to be two stainless steel sleeves on EITHER SIDE of the HEIM Joint. You can see them quite clearly in the pictures that Bill posted links to. My question is: are those ball-bearings, or just spacers, on either side of the HEIM Joint? I hope that's clear.
