Are you sure your body isn't shaped like a banana (ends drooping). What would happen if you picked one end, started as many bolts as you can, then put a jack under the other end and gently raised it up. As Dave Swingle once observed, these are incredibly bendy little cars (he had a back window that simply refused to seat all the way around until he noticed the lift hadn't gone all the way to the floor, banana shaping the body).
