Ummm... no Haven't you heard about the Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI)? I believe Mitsubishi was the first manufacturer that offered this technology to the masses but I might be mistaken here. I don't remember exactly. Anyway, there are gasoline engines out there that inject fuel directly into the cylinders. They offer great fuel economy, great response and low emissions.
