We installed one for Louis this weekend. It is supplemental to the original (and in my opinion inadequate) collection of factory grounds -- every single one of Louis' original grounds could disappear tomorrow, and he would never know it because they have been rendered extremely redundant. He also will never have to lay on the ground to mess with his block ground or the battery to frame ground, failures of which are being reported by increasing numbers of owners. BTW: anyone who tells you the fuel pump, instrument cluster, windshield wipers, etc are grounded via the radio bracket is just plain wrong. There is a ground junction hiding behind the central HVAC duct -- I 100% guarantee it. A royal pain to reach, but it can be done.
