You hit the nail on the head. Some owners act like they are afraid of their own shadows. I bought my DeLorean to be a source of enjoyment, not a source of fear and anxiety. I drive the everliving daylights out of the poor little thing. I even drove it through an honest to goodness tornado once (not on purpose of course, but when one unexpectedly passes overhead you don't much choice but to hang on). My car was purchased pre-dented, so I don't need to fret shopping carts in the parking lot. As numerous owners can attest, I let anyone who wants drive it (I even let someone who didn't know anything about shifting gears borrow it once -- oops). #5939 may be many things, but a porcelain doll it is not.
