Mike Loasby did not like the front suspension design at all. Several British owners have corresponded with him directly about the subject. He also made some posts about it on the old DMCTalk.com site, including a humorous anecdote about the LCA's folding underneath him while driving one of the mules, to which Lotus replied "we'll just use bigger washers."
