I also turned them around so the meaty side is towards the back (sway bar arc pushes forward into an empty space). Horizontally it makes no difference which way the bushing is turned. Combined with the 45 degree shape of our sway bars (Lotus' sway bars have a sharp 90 degree bend), I think arc of travel arguments are a Red Herring. An owner at FFT'11 told me Rob Grady turns his bushings around as normal practice even on OEM suspensions, probably to try and minimize the LCA pulling backwards during braking.
