Castor is dynamic thanks to the arc traced by the ARB. It passes through positive and negative castor deliberately as the suspension oscillates. I'm no expert on this stuff, I'm passing on what Mike Loasby told us. Camber is fixed by the length of the control arms (Byrne had some fabrication problems earlier this year, but my set are 100% same length as OEM. I reused the upper arms with new ball joints). Toe is adjustable by turning the outer tie rod ends. My suspension starts with 100% OEM alignment specs. The difference is it keeps those specs as it goes through the range of motion. This is what a typical DeLorean suspension does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMHO4Aydk04 Bill Robertson #5939 --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "stainlessilusion" <5n-@...> wrote: > > I am wondering what the upgraded suspension has done to the alignment specs... I'm sure everything [suspension] doesn't travel like it once did, no? -----Dani B. > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
