I read a lot about the drug case and it seemed for me, that it was  
Hoffman who threatened Delorean. He was not as clever as the FBI and  
did not know about the legal consequences.
Larry Flint (founder of Hustler) said first, that he has cassettes  
with these records and after that John Delorean confirmed.  
Unsurprisingly these cassettes later mysteriously disappeared.
