I need some advice. My idle was fine until I took a ride today. When the car is warmed up the idle fluctuates between about 600 and 1500 rpm - very annoying and almost wants to stall. All my vacuum lines are new and connected correctly. However, perhaps this will offer a clue to someone who may be able to help. If I disconnect power or the middle vacuum hose to the ignition solenoid valve, the idle smooths out. There is vacuum on that middle rubber hose too. The solenoid valve clicks when the microswitch is engaged. I can hear the air inake plunger suk air to catch up after each fluctuation. The frequency valve buzzes and hums as it should. Can anyone offer any ideas what might be causing the idle fluctutation.
