I installed Hervey's "split" hoses and they are indeed very easy to install. Even when one of mine got stuck above the fuel tank closing plate, I simply pushed it over the bumps with a long screwdriver. Also I think it's very handy that John supplies the green O-rings which are compatible with either refrigerant. You'll need some LARGE open wrenches. Let me know if you want to borrow mine.
