I usually have the opposite experience. I say it's a DeLorean to someone in their twenties and they just blink. Then I say, "You know, a Back to the Future" car, and they seem to recognize it better. I guess after I drive off they wonder where all the extra plumbing went. ;-) And the paint. Ha! It's the 40ish and up that have the cocaine comments.
