I always assumed that starting in 2nd gear, skipping gears, and keeping shifts low was the best way to get better gas miles. However, in chats with other car enthusiasts they told me that makes fuel economy worse, because the car is struggling in lower gears. So what is better to save gas? Shifting in a patter 2-4-5 OR Shifting in a pattern 1-2-3-4-5 Also what RPM should shift be kept at or under? ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
