> Just lifted my dash mat up and noted that my former purfect dash now has some brown discoloration. The car has beed stored indoors here in AZ with the mat in place and with a car cover. Somewhere I thought I read someone having a simular situation and found a cure? > > Help > > Randal Randal - Did you by chance use Armorall on the dash before covering it up? I understand from some detailers that I know that it has a definite tendency to turn brown after awhile. They tell me that when you see tires with a brownish tinge to them, it invariably means that Armorall has been applied. As far as a solution to this, I will have to track these guys down and ask them for the old family secret on how to remove this effect from vinyl. I would suggest that some of the high quality vinyl and rubber cleaners might be able to remove this issue.
