Hi David, I -just- replaced the d--n steering column bushing 3 weeks ago. <sigh> I have the steering wheel puller, but I'll have to run to the hardware store because my kit doesn't have long bolts of that small of a thread size. I've already marked the steering wheel position. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "jtrealtywebspannet" <jtrealty@...> wrote: > > Be advised that you will need a wheel puller to remove the steering wheel. Make sure you mark it's position so you can put it back on and it is straight ahead when driving straight. If you need a new bushing this is a good time to remove the column and do it all at once. > David Teitelbaum > > --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Richard" <racuti1@> wrote: > > > > Thanks for the informative answers. > > > > I have NO problem buying the complete part, even though only the turn signal-hi/lo beam switch was broken. IIRC, tje part number is 100952 and the price is $104.95. It is unique to the DeLorean cosmetically, but mechanically and functionally similar to an older Jag part. I'm also told it was used with different styles stalks on the Maserati Quattroporte. > > > > > > Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. > > > > > > Regards, > > > > > > James Espey > > > Vice President > > > DeLorean Motor Company > > > 15023 Eddie Drive > > > Humble, TX 77396 USA > > > +1-281-441-2537 : Voice > > > +1-281-441-2813 : Fax > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: "Richard" <racuti1@> > > > Sender: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > > Date: Sat, 20 Nov 2010 22:00:36 > > > To: <dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > > Reply-To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > > Subject: [DML] Turn signal switch- Do they exist or not? > > > > > > This Halloween, I put my DeLorean out in the yard with a flux capacitor installed as I always do.
