Its not dramatic damage, but there are creases going to the edge of the door, where the metal wraps around the inner frame. The damage used to continue to the rear quarter, but I have replaced that already. It looks like the PO may have lost control and scraped a rock or something. Repairing it may not be feasible, when compared to replacing the door with a good used one. If the door has to come off the car to be repaired, then the labor costs to swapping it out will be similar. With a used door I'd know exactly what I was getting, so there would be no risk. Further complicated by the fact that I'm no where near where Chris is going to be, I'd need to get the door to him too. I guess I'm talking myself out of it, anybody have a ray of sunshine to save the idea? I guess I was hoping to hear about a local shop that could do it with the door on the car... Thanks guys.
