I've been to an AMC "special event". You may want warn people it may be a good idea to find out the ticket prices AND if they are showing an actual film print OR a DVD. If dvd or digital it may be projected from the pre-show LCD projector, the dim and pixelie one that projects the advertizements, NOT the DLP. One I went to was in Lavonia for a Star Trek episode which turned out to be about $20 admission and projected dimly from the LCD projector. Others at a movie forum I belong to have similar experiences with these "events" AMC sometime has. The fact that its showing on over 158 screens at the same time makes me think this will be digital. Buyer beware.
