Spoke with Leif Montin (former national parts director for DMC) and he recalls that the two AMEX gold cars did *not* go through the QACs, they were air freighted directly to Dallas and San Francisco where local dealers handled the delivery to the customers. It may be that the Snyder car buyer instructed the dealer to remove the fluids prior to the delivery to the bank lobby.
