Well I visited the Delorean at the repair shop. I know mechanic well as he's worked on my vehicle and my friend's Delorean. He showed me that the fans were creating too much of a load on part of the fusebox ( I think it was called a resistor). He unplugged one of the fans and replaced the part in the fusebox. He let the car idle for 20 minutes in his shop with the AC on. Car never got hot again. Idling with the AC on probably wasn't the best idea, but it didn't affect the car any. I also got to see the underside of the Delorean and help him put the car on the lift. Very educational experience for me.
